i want to make sure the nice side stays in control so that the evil side doesn't present itself and murder everyone here

Demons aren't really...a thing, as far as I can tell, in my world. Like there are things we traditionally classify as demons but they're just magical creatures that people were afraid of. And then there's stuff like malevolent trickster gods or ancient eldritch monsters that can't reason but it's pretty hard to go up against a god and win
My two thoughts are some kind of bracelet or something with a spell in it that anchors the good side? Reminds him that he's got reasons to stay out? And then an alert spell of some kind that goes off if his energy changes
Does it change? Or is the bad side always kind of radiating even when it's not dominant?
future me and my friends did a spell to help bring him balance, and anchor him
that's why he's in control of himself now. i feel strongly about making sure that holds. it's only been two months for him since it happened, and none of those months were spent in a city that makes its name out of bringing the worst out of us all

You said future you did it, do you KNOW the spell? Or do you have to reverse engineer it?
[Reverse engineering is something Quentin's good at, at least!]
Actually I might know a spell that could get us the pieces of what's on him, if you could put them back together
